Our doors are open if you are looking for a dentist that offers tooth implants in Seattle, Washington. Seattle Family Dentistry is conveniently located for people that live in Broadview, Ballard, Northgate, Fremont, Greenwood, and many other Seattle neighborhoods.

If you are missing a tooth, or multiple teeth, the situation can negatively affect your life in a couple of different ways. Clearly, if the gaps between your teeth are visible, your appearance will suffer. Many people that are in this situation never smile broadly or laugh in public, and this can take a toll emotionally. And when you are missing certain teeth, it can be difficult to eat comfortably.

There was once a time when partial dentures were the only option, but things are entirely different now. Tooth implants are available, and they are changing lives for the better each and every day. The dentist here at Seattle Family Dentistry, Ajwant Goraya, has a great deal of expertise when it comes to the tooth implants Seattle patients can receive at our practice. There is no reason to go through life with missing teeth when this relatively simple procedure can have a transformative effect.

There are essentially three different components to the tooth implant process. After x-rays have been taken and it has been determined that you are a viable candidate, you schedule an appointment for the implant procedure. A small metal post is implanted into your jawbone, and this usually takes about an hour.

The artificial root is given time to heal and become part of the bone. This will generally take about 3 to 6 months. After the post is firmly in place, an abutment will be added. There is another brief healing period (a week or two), and finally, the replacement tooth will be attached.
