Teeth Whitening and Cosmetic Dentistry in Greenwood, Ballard, Fremont, Shoreline, Northgate, Seattle, WA, & the Surrounding Areas

Seattle’s Family Dentistry is the right choice for teeth whitening in the Seattle area, and we serve patients from all neighborhoods, including Seattle, Greenwood, Ballard, Fremont, Shoreline, and Northgate, WA. There are many different underlying causes of tooth discoloration. Stained teeth are common among people that utilize tobacco, and poor dental hygiene can be a culprit, as well as age and genetics.

Beverages like coffee, tea, red wine, and certain sodas can be a root cause, and some foods can stain your teeth. Of course, gradual staining can reach an unacceptable point as you start to enter the latter stages of your life.

Before and after of a dental whitening procedure

Many years ago, people simply had to live with discoloration, but in the late 1980s, teeth whitening solutions were introduced. At the present time, they are highly advanced, and we provide state-of-the-art teeth whitening for Seattle area patients.

First, we will evaluate your teeth and gums to make sure that you are a suitable candidate for teeth whitening. After it has been determined that all systems are go, we will apply a protective layer of gel or a rubber shield to protect your gums. A custom crafted tray will be fitted to the contours of your teeth, and the whitening solution will be applied to the inside of the tray.

It will be positioned onto your teeth, and it will remain in place for about 30 minutes. Subsequently, you can repeat this procedure from the comfort of your own home. Depending on the extent of the discoloration, the teeth whitening process should take about 2 to 4 weeks in all.

We believe it is important to develop a relationship with our patients, and your comfort level means everything. Many people experience dental problems because they were reluctant to go to the dentist because they have certain fears. There are also individuals that are not frightened, but they avoid dentists because they have had negative experiences.

We fully understand this dynamic, and we take our relationships with our patients to heart. Everyone that works here at Seattle’s Family Dentistry is kind, empathetic, and fully committed to the well-being of our neighbors in the Seattle area. You can be absolutely certain that you will feel completely comfortable at all times when you work with our practice.
